- History: Labradorite was named after Labrador, Canada, where it was found on the Isle of Paul, near Nain in 1770. It has since been found in other places, including Finland, Madagascar, and Australia.
- Metaphysical Properties: Labradorite is believed to be protective against negative energies, balancing, strengthening and protecting the aura, and sealing the aura from energy leaks. Is believed to be a stone of transformation and change. Labradorite enhances strength of will and feelings of inner worth.
- History: Rose quartz has been dated back to 7000 BC have been found in the area once known as Mesopotamia (today’s Iraq). Rose quartz jewelry was known to be crafted by the Assyrians around 800-600 BC. The Assyrians, along with the Romans, might have been the first to use this stone.
